Research Ethics & Data Privacy Statement
Research ethics. WWRI conducts research in accordance with recognized principles for the ethical conduct of research involving human participants, including voluntary participation, informed consent, and the right to withdraw at any time without penalty.
Data privacy. WWRI treats all survey responses as confidential and collects no personally identifying information beyond what is necessary for the research. Data are stored in access-controlled cloud storage, access is limited to authorized researchers, and results are reported only in aggregate, so that no individual participant can be identified. WWRI does not sell participant data and retains it only as long as needed for the research and to meet applicable requirements.
